A little bit about me.

I am often asked if I am a listing agent or a buyer’s agent? And which do you prefer? I like to say, “YES!” I am a listing agent. I am a seller’s agent. I do prefer both! Seriously, how could you choose? Both sides of the transaction require a devoted agent who will be there for you! I am that person, 100% of the time.

I was born here in Hampton Roads, and I call this entire area HOME. I think I have a family member in every city. When I am not hard at work, I am serving our community. I am actively involved in my church, I have coached all ages, I am also an advocate for our youth with mental health issues, so I serve on the Board of Our Daily Gnome, a nonprofit using creative arts to combat anxiety. I prefer to support small businesses and family-owned restaurants.

My husband of 40+ years and I have 3 adult children and 7 grandchildren. We are embedded in this wonderful community. If we don’t already know you it’s likely our paths will cross soon.

I happily serve all of Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina. Moyock, NC, is growing fast and only 10 minutes from my area of Chesapeake. There are still many pockets of rural areas in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Moyock, and Camden. The Outer Banks is only 55 minutes from our home, and full of rental income investment properties. It’s also a wonderful place to vacation!

I also help my clients see the greatest potential in the “dated or run down” homes and or assist them in making timeless selections for their new build. Personally, my husband and I bought a house time stamped 1980 and renovated every room to reflect today’s open concept living and modern finishes. Since then, we have helped many buyers move to a neighborhood they prefer and/or help them change their current home to meet their standards. I have great business relationships with wonderful lenders that specialize in renovation loans, bridge loans, and Home Equity Line of Credit loan programs.

I have an army of contractors and trades that I regularly refer my past, present, and future clients to. I like to say, “I have kissed a lot of frogs to get this awesome list of professionals!”
